Writing is part of my meditative process to clarify my thoughts, to align my actions and to focus on my purpose. I write about my emotions, my shortcomings, and my ideas for a better world through poetry, prose, and what I call rantifestos every day, some of which I post here on my blog and on social media. I share them to help others move along their paths to live and lead with compassion.

In our busyness, in our activity based lives, we think we’re constantly making adjustments and course corrections. Advancing our lives through professional development and experiences and networking. Most of the time there’s a regression to the mean. To what is comfortable and habitual. We feel good because we’re busy. Striving. Climbing and sliding. All along we’re slightly unclear or dissatisfied with the results of our efforts. And time passes extremely quickly.

In a moment we think we see something, perhaps feel something, even know something, as the clouds morph and we can miss what they have become.

You have so much to offer the world. You have not even scratched the surface of your potential and your ability to help others.

How do we allow the incredible seeds that have been sown into your DNA sprout and grow?

Every time we see our action as a means to an end we lose the meaning and value of the action.

So let us pick up the stones over which we stumble, friends, and build altars. Let us listen to the sound of breath in our bodies.
Every week I send out a list of things I think are worth sharing—to kick your ass—new posts, resources, and recommendations straight to your inbox.
