Get closer to what you seek

People who say it cannot be done
should not interrupt those who are doing it.

Why are you hesitating, holding back, reluctant to take the steps and actions that need to be taken to get closer, much closer to what you want? Like a distant relative you can feel close. Time and apathy elongates the perception and reality of distance.  Think about what you could have done, should have done, haven’t done. What now? The only way to get closer is to take steps to move forward. To get to the edge of the stage where the action is.

You waste so much time worrying, leading to postponing and inaction. You need to get closer. Close up. Close by. So easy to get lost in thought, doubt, and excuses that freeze your brain and your agency. Easier to be far away from allowing your senses to engulf you in the reality. Telling you how close you are. The feel, the touch, the smell, the taste.

You gotta get closer, much closer.

In the vast realm of dreams and aspirations, we ponder life’s profound contemplations. How does one inch closer to their hopes’ embrace? Only action can enable your life’s chase.

The benefits of proximity, are clear, For nearness to one’s goals can banish the fear.

In closeness, clarity begins to bloom, The heart beats faster, dispelling gloom. With every step taken, courage gained, our dreams, like constellations, are unchained.

Yet, why does the journey seem so steep? Why does contemplating the climb make our spirits weep? The path to success, can seem dire. The challenge lies in the depth of our desire,

Obstacles arise, like mountains in our way, Yet with resilience, we’ll seize the day. Patience, persistence, faith in our aim, These are the tools to fuel our flame.

So, let us embrace the challenge of nearness, For it is in the journey we find our clearness. Closer to our goals, we become whole, In the pursuit of dreams, we find our souls.

To the sky of aspirations, we inquire, How does one move toward their goals they aspire?

Distance grants simplicity, it’s true, Yet proximity reveals perspectives anew.

The benefits of closeness, a complex art, unveil the canvas, show each stroke and part. In nearness, secrets of the goal unfold, Its hues and shadows, stories untold.

For when we’re close, we sense the whispers deep, The nuances, the secrets that we keep. The subtleties emerge, the fine details, Revealing truths obscured by many veils.

But closer still, the challenge does persist, A paradox, it seems, that can’t be missed. For intimacy brings forth vulnerability, A labyrinth of truths, a test of our ability.

Emotions raw, uncertainties arise, As we confront the truth within our eyes. The path to goals, a winding, tangled maze, requires strength to navigate its intricate ways.

So, ponder this, as life’s grand journey unfurls, In closeness, we gain wisdom, precious pearls. But getting closer, it’s a daunting art, For it demands both courage and a tender heart.

Go to that place where you imagine the truth is emerging. To become a front row participant in the actions adventures and anecdotes of your inspiration. The place where real stories and real people live your dream. See it for yourself. Get closer to what you seek. You are so close and yet so far. From what you have always been, but have not experienced.

Some of the words, thoughts and poetry  emerged from my lengthy conversation with Chat GPT.

I worried

I worried a lot. Will the garden grow, will the rivers
flow in the right direction, will the earth turn
as it was taught, and if not how shall
I correct it?

Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven,
can I do better?

Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows
can do it and I am, well,
hopeless.

Is my eyesight fading or am I just imagining it,
am I going to get rheumatism,
lockjaw, dementia?

Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body
and went out into the morning,
and sang.
